Jack, Thomas, Hugo, Sarah, Orla, Chloe, Cici and Harmony
CICI OLIVEIRA
Hey there! I’m Cici. The founder of The 2DAY Project. Suicide has been a personal and prevalent issue in my life and one that I’ve always felt inclined to take action with but have never known quite how. Through this project and this work with these incredible people I hope to use my and our collective voices to make change. To fight for and when individuals can’t and continue this ongoing battle.
Harmony wilson-ngata
Hi I’m Harmony and a member of The 2DAY Project. The winter of 2022 this topic hit very close to home, truly opening my eyes to the shunned aspects of suicide and mental health. For me this project is not only a way to spread awareness but a way to honor him. I am passionate and eager about speaking for those who no longer can in a warm and kind environment we at 2DAY strive to create.
Jack Salter
Hi Im Jack and I am the website and creative designer for The 2day Project. Design is something I’m passionate about, and using my creativity for an issue as important as suicide and opening that conversation is a great opportunity. I look forward to creating more impactful work alongside this group.
Chloe Mccutcheon
Hi I’m Chloe and a committed member of The 2DAY Project. Suicide is a devastating event that impacts so many, having so many stories go untold is what drives the dedication for this project for me and the group. I am eager to destigmatize such a persistent issue and make change using both visual and verbal methods of communication.
Sarah Mosely
Hi I’m Sarah and am a member of The 2DAY Project. This initiative is very important to me because of suicides impact on my life on a personal level and on a societal scale. Dissolving the stigmatisations around suicide and mental health are a necessity for New Zealand and its people and requires change I’m excited to ignite.
Hugo Chapman
Hey! I’m Hugo, another member of the team. I’m keen to use my position here as a way to change the narrative around suicide - particularly for men. Accepting the normality of not being okay is a vital step in creating the change this team and everyone wants to see, for us guys and society as a whole
Orla Langdon
Hey! I’m Orla. A member of The 2DAY Project who is dedicated to normalising the dangers of mental health by creating a space where individuals can work through shame and embarrassment toward its impacts. Doing this through education and conversations is what we aim to do. I’m excited to spread awareness through my passions like fashion and design looking toward a more inclusive future.
Thomas Green
Hey, I’m Thomas a committed member of the 2day project. Suicide prevention became deeply important to me after losing one of my closest friends. Breaking the stigma surrounding suicide is essential to creating meaningful change and helping people feel safe and comfortable in discussing this important topic. Creating environments where open conversations can be had is key to help prevent suicide among young men and women in New Zealand.
